YASHIL ENERGIYA AT THE TECHNOVATION 2026 FORUM

On 30 September, the JW Marriott Hotel in Tashkent hosted the international forum Technovation. Representatives of government bodies, international companies and the scientific and expert community exchanged views on innovation and investment.
Nodirbek Nasretdinov, CEO of the Yashil Energiya joint venture, spoke at the forum's session "Investing in Innovative Transformation". He was joined on the panel by the heads of EPAM Uzbekistan and The Coca-Cola Company Uzbekistan, and the Vice President of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan.

The session discussed the experience of four industries: the path from technology to investment, new competencies and changing business models. Nodirbek Nasretdinov spoke about how green technologies are entering the economy and the opportunities they open up for organisations.
Today the Yashil Energiya joint venture works in three areas: solar power plants, an EV charging network and micro hydropower plants.
The company installs solar plants at its own expense, while the organisation pays only for the electricity it uses. Every kilowatt is metered online via the ASKUE automated metering system. The company services the station for 20 years.
