JV "Yashil Energiya" LLC is constantly contributing to the introduction of stable and environmental sources in Uzbekistan. The Department of micro hydropower is one of the important directions in this way.
Why MHP
MHP plants are small facilities with a capacity ranging from 5 kW to 500 kW that generate electricity using the flow of water. These plants have several advantages:
Permanent and stable electricity
Environmental safety – no harm to the environmen
Addressing energy shortages in rural areas
Low-cost maintenance and a long-life service.

Normative-legal framework
Our MHP activities are based on the official policy and support of the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as outlined in Decree No. 129, dated March 28th, 2025. This decree provides for measures to increase the capacity of businesses to generate electricity through the use of water resources, thereby improving the sustainability of the electricity supply to various sectors of the economy and the general population. The goal is to ensure energy security for the entire economy and promote sustainable development.
Projects implemented
Currently, JV "Yashil Energya" LLC is implementing the MHP-1 project on the Margunenkov Canal in the Okrugan district of the Tashkent region. The station has a capacity of 270 kW and is designed to efficiently utilize local water resources to generate electricity for nearby areas.
Future plans
Our company plans to launch five new MHP projects in 2025. These projects will be implemented in different regions of Uzbekistan, and will help improve the stable supply of electricity for thousands of residents.
