Solar power plant cost: how it works with Yashil Energiya
With Yashil Energiya, you do not buy a solar power plant. The company fully covers the design, equipment procurement, construction and installation. That is why no upfront investment, prepayment or loan is required from you.
You pay only for the electricity the plant has generated and your facility has actually used. The price per kilowatt-hour is lower than the grid tariff and is linked to the tariff in the contract. If the state tariff changes, the contract price is recalculated automatically — there is no need to re-sign the contract. As a result, the more the tariff grows, the bigger the difference in soums between grid electricity and solar electricity.
Billing is based on actual meter readings. Every plant is connected to ASKUE, an automated commercial electricity metering system: readings are transmitted automatically, with no estimates.
What do your savings depend on? First, on the plant's capacity, which is determined by the size of the roof or site. Second, on your facility's consumption: the more energy you use during the day, the larger the share the plant covers. Third, on the location, roof slope and shading, which affect annual generation.

How it works: from request to an operating plant
Installing a plant takes several stages, and each of them is managed by Yashil Energiya specialists.
- 1Request. You submit a request through the website form or by phone. If you provide the facility address and approximate monthly electricity consumption right away, the work will start faster.
- 2Site visit. Our specialists visit the facility and assess the condition and size of the roof or site, shading and the possibility of connecting to the grid.
- 3Calculation and proposal. Based on the data collected, we calculate the plant's capacity and your savings. The calculation is free.
- 4Contract. The parties sign a power purchase agreement (PPA). It sets out the price, billing procedure and service terms. Contracts with state organisations are concluded in the manner established by law — with registration with the treasury and through public procurement procedures.
- 5Design and permits. The company develops the project, obtains the technical conditions and arranges the necessary approvals.
- 6Construction and installation. Panels, inverters and the metering system are installed. All work is carried out at the company's expense.
- 7Commissioning. The plant is connected to the facility's electrical system and placed under online monitoring via ASKUE.
- 8Twenty years of service. Throughout the contract, the company is responsible for panel cleaning, technical inspections, equipment replacement when needed and online monitoring.
Project timelines depend on the facility's specifics and the permitting procedure, so they are set individually for each facility.

Yashil Energiya plants are already operating in various regions of Uzbekistan — at social facilities, state institutions and businesses. For example, a 400 kW plant is operating on the roof of one of the social facilities in Tashkent: the company built it at its own expense, and the facility did not spend a single soum.

Frequently asked questions
Who owns the plant?
For the entire term of the contract, the plant remains the property of Yashil Energiya. That is why construction, repairs and maintenance are also the company's responsibility.
Do I need to pay anything upfront?
No. You do not invest in equipment or installation. No prepayment or loan is required.
What exactly do I pay for?
Only for the electricity the plant has generated and your facility has actually used. The price is lower than the grid tariff, and billing is based on meter readings.
What happens at night and on cloudy days?
The plant generates energy during the day, when there is sunlight. At night, the facility receives electricity from the grid as before. That is why the plant mainly covers the daytime part of consumption.
Who cleans the panels and handles repairs?
The company. For all twenty years of the contract, panel cleaning, technical inspections, equipment replacement and online monitoring are handled by Yashil Energiya. There is no separate charge for this.
How much can I save?

Who can submit a request?
Yashil Energiya works with legal entities: businesses, retail facilities, farms, as well as state and social institutions — schools, colleges and hospitals.
