What does this signify? It reflects a strong mutual interest in expanding investment and trade-economic cooperation, as well as a high level of confidence in Uzbekistan's existing investment potential. Both sides expressed great interest in strengthening bilateral ties. According to the Malaysian guests, there is much to learn from each other.

The ancient city of Samarkand — historically a hub of trade — hosted the Uzbekistan-Malaysia Business Forum. The event reaffirmed the belief that, with mutual trust and determination, great results can be achieved and new meaning can be given to bilateral cooperation. Active dialogue at the forum emphasized this even further.

Initial agreements were signed as part of this effort. Notably, Yashil Energiya LLC held extensive and meaningful roundtable discussions with Malaysia’s leading company Sunview. The topics of solar photovoltaic power plants and mini/micro hydropower stations generated considerable interest among Malaysian representatives. As a result, Sunview proposed plans to sponsor and invest in these projects.

Following negotiations held in an open, friendly, and trustworthy environment, both sides signed agreements and established a long-term roadmap for future business cooperation.

The outcomes of the Uzbekistan–Malaysia Business Forum confirmed both parties’ commitment to expanding investment partnerships — including collaboration in the field of green energy.
